WHOSE CAT IS DEAD – AN EVENING OF GRATEFUL DEAD & PHISH – 8pm till 2am

DESCRIPTION

Illumination Presents and Flat Cat Productions Invite You to Share in an Evening of Grateful Dead and Phish with:

Whose Cat Is Dead

&

A Solo Acoustic Phish Set by Rich Grossman of The Lizards

***Check out the various ticket options including Early Bird, Ticket and Concert Poster, and Hamilton Bus Trip***

Relatively new to the scene, the veteran musicians that make up Whose Cat Is Dead are really turning “heads” within the jam community. As a 4-piece act interpreting the catalog of the Grateful Dead, WCID have the luxury of musical space that comes along with a more “stripped down” approach. With a driving, powerful rhythm section, soaring keys, Jerry-like yet still fresh guitar, and some of the best 3-part harmonies in the business, this crew are quickly gaining fans new and old.

Adam Bernstein – drums and vocals

Kimberly Manning – key and vocals

Mark Thackway – guitar and vocals

Mikey Vukovich – bass and vocals

The Lizards virtuoso guitar slinger, Rich Grossman, has been wowing crowds with the band since making their debut in November of 2013, playing sold out shows and festivals to hundreds of fans. The band’s main goal is to recreate the Phish Experience.Whether it’s their ever changing setlists, synchronized dancing (or trampoline-ing) or touring with their own lighting rig and director (TG5), the band is committed to giving people that same feeling as the one we’ve all felt many times before.

The Lizards make it possible to gain that experience in our own backyard, with many feeling it’s been a long time coming that a band can create a community in this country for such a style of music. The Lizards intend to show everyone that they, above all things, can once again bring together a congregation of like-minded people that all want the same things: good times, good music & sore legs!

Rich has agreed to perform a special acousitc set of Phish songs for this show. Come and see what he has up his sleeve!

BILLIE EILISH – WHERES MY MIND TOUR

BILLIE EILISH

Billie Eilish might just make you believe in magic…

It’s the best explanation for this silver-haired 15-year-old siren whose breathy, soulful, and spirited croon immediately casts an unbreakable spell. The Los Angeles songstress resembles something of a fairy tale heroine—albeit one with a Tyler, the Creator obsession, Aurora inspiration, wicked sense of humor, and inimitable fashion sense filtered through a kaleidoscope of hip-hop, grunge, and glam tendencies ready to practically levitate above any runway. It’s this kind of je nais sais quoi that fueled the meteoric rise of her debut single “Ocean Eyes.” Produced by big brother Finneas O’Connell, a whopping four-and-a-half years older than she is, the siblings uploaded the track to Soundcloud in 2015, and it became a veritable phenomenon, generating 40 million cumulative Spotify streams and 5 million YouTube/VEVO views. In between signing to Darkroom/Interscope during 2016, Vogue decried her, “Pop’s Next It Girl,” and she received love from i-D Magazine, V Magazine, and Beats 1 tastemaker Zane Lowe. This fervor stems from a combination of the whimsy Billie creates by being herself and an impressive “I-don’t-give-an-eff” imperviousness.

With this new album, Chinese Man creates a link betweens its music origins and its new aspirations. SHIKANTAZA is an invitation to let go, to capture the moment…it is a personal path to enlightenment.
